What do you want to be when you grow up? I was not sure exactly but I knew from my competitive love for soccer and gymnastics I wanted to be the best that I could. Through college studying nutrition and competing in the National Physique Committee I found a lifestyle that requires sacrifice, dedication, passion and patience which evolved into strength, courage and enthusiasm to overcome mental and physical challenges with life. I approach life with commitment and enthusiasm to create positive mindset in myself and others to live life better.

I grew up on Pine Island, just one Island north of Sanibel. I had an active childhood, riding bikes, playing baseball and fishing. Throughout most of high school I was shy and little over weight, I stayed active playing football and throwing shot putt and discus on the track and field team. Although I was not very good at sports, my grades in high school were very good. Just before the summer of my senior year I made a decision to get into better shape, over that summer I began weight training every day, I was doing cardio and eating right. Coming back for the beginning of my senior year I was 40 pounds lighter and a lot stronger. I immediately noticed a positive response from my peers, not only because of my new look but also because of the confidence that I now had.
I carried this confidence through college where I continued to work out and study medicine. While in college I suffered an injury, severely herniating a disk in my back. The only options given by the doctors were surgery or cortisone therapy, neither of which I wanted to do, especially at such a young age. So I decided to use the knowledge that I had in anatomy and physiology to rehab myself. I was successful. Shortly after that I decided that I did not want to continue on to medical school and began helping others avoid unnecessary surgery by proper weight training and diet. I am now dedicated to helping others not only to look and feel better, but also to gain confidence in themselves.
